Our Open Science Meetings are held every three years and offer a unique opportunity for knowledge exchange and networking. This year, more than 200 delegates from around the globe attended. The programme encompassed some 120 presentations related to different themes in the framework of Long Term Ecosystem Research and related fields. The programme also included a scientific field trip open to all delegates. The 2019 OSM was kindly hosted by UFZ (Umwelttforschungszentrum) Leipzig, Germany.
During the week 14-19 October 2018, ILTER held its annual Coordinating Committee Meeting in Taichung, Taiwan; and the ILTER East Asia Pacific (EAP) regional network conducted a scientific conference with the topic
Resilience of Ecosystems in Natural and Human-dominated Landscapes including a scientific field trip for all participants.
Once a year, the ILTER Nitrogen Initiative offers an international training school on the effects of nitrogen on various ecosystems. Each of these courses was a huge success and has attracted students from around the world. Learn more about ILTER N-Training and watch our video!
