Novi Sad, Serbia

Host: BIOSENSE

Management level meeting restricted to member network representatives, side-by-side with the ILTER Scientific Conference

Timing

The CC meeting will be held 12-13 October, 12-14 UTC on both days (Wednesday and Thursday), that is 14-16 CEST locally, and offered in hybrid format. This is the ILTER association's general assembly open to member network delegates.

We strongly encourage in-person participation for the CC meeting which will give us better opportunities to interact and make it easier to take some important decisions.

For all those who attend in person, and likewise open to all interested parties, in parallel, there will also be a hybrid scientific event 12-14 October in the mornings. The latter will be organised by the ILTER Science Committee. ILTER scientific conference participants may take part in the CC meetinga as guests but have no voting rights.

CC delegates were kindly requested to consider presenting their scientific or technical work at the Scientific Conference and to submit an abstract.

Registration

All on-site CC participants are expected to also register for the Scientific Conference and pay the registration fee to cover the costs incurred by our host. There is no separate CC registration process nor a separate CC meeting fee.

If you need a formal (pro-forma) invoice regarding the fee, this will of course be provided.

Webinar

PELD is kindly organising a back-to-back webinar on Long Term Ecological Research in Latin America
ILTER Open Science Meetings (OSM)
Once every three years, the world-wide Long-Term-Ecosystem-Research community including further interested researchers and stakeholders gathers at the ILTER OSM hosted by one of its members. The OSMs include a full range of academic sessions and workshops, plenary lectures, social events and field trips.
Coordinating Committee and Regional Group meetings
The ILTER Coordinating Committee convenes annually. These meetings are hosted by one of the Member Networks and in most cases, they are held in conjunction with a scientific event. In those years, an OSM is held, the Coordinating Committee meeting is held after the OSM to reduce the need for travel.

The ILTER Regional Groups ILTER EAP and LTER Europe hold regular meetings for the purpose of conducting an in-depth exchange more closely related to their specific concerns than would be possible at the all-ILTER meetings.

Owing to the Covid-pandemic, currently, these meetings are organised online.
